The following information should allow you to determine if it is feasible for you to apply for an available volunteer post.

 

Volunteer Disciplines

 

We welcome the following skilled applicants:

 

  • Research Analysts/ Statisticians
  • Graphic Designers & Sales
  • Project and Program Managers
  • Editors and Journalists
  • Administrators and Accountants
  • Others

 

For Graduates Volunteers that have knowledge and experience in the following areas would be strongly considered.

 

  • Graphic Design
  • Behavioural Science/Social Science
  • Health Technicians/Specialists
  • Project and Programme Management

 

IT Skills

 

Volunteer applicants are to be familiar with the following software programmes:

 

Essential: Microsoft Office Suite.  This consists of Access, Excel, Infopath, Powerpoint, Publisher and Word.

 

Not essential but preferable/desirable for certain posts:

Express, Photoshop Adobe, Illustrator, Corel Draw and Pagemaker

SPSS, EPI Info, Ethnograph and QRS N6 5 (Nudist)

 

 

Language

 

Officially, Cameroon is a Bi-lingual Country.  However, French is the dominant language and the organisation advises that all those wishing to volunteer have good verbal, writing, reading and listening skills in French.  Fluency in French is desirable but not essential.
