Cultural Centre for Youth
This centre is for local youths to relax and learn about sexual health with help from professional staff. This dynamic facility has two important floors.
The ground floor is an educational suite furnished with projectors, TV’s and computers with restricted internet access. There is also a library with a plethora of sexual health information, IRESCO magazines which discuss HIV/ AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Infection’s (STI’s) and a varied video collection. There is also free literature available for those who come and visit who wish to learn about sexual health issues.
The first floor is contains a counselling room with full time counsellor, with absolute confidentiality and privacy. There are also timetabled HIV Screening tests held here so young people can have a quick and easy test, with results given at IRESCO to those concerned. Blood results are also confirmed at Centre Pasteur.
